How to reduce my acne scars

Acne scars can only be treated when there is no more active acne.
The first step is to define the type of scars because they do not all respond in the same way to the treatments offered:
– Scars called “crater”, they are shallow (hail-like appearance).
– Scars known as “ice pick”, deep and narrow.
– “Swollen” scars, sometimes taken for persistent acne cysts.
It is unclear whether or not acne will leave scars.
Severe acne will be more likely to leave scars, such as cystic acne, but this is not always the case.
The main rule is to calm the inflammation during an acne breakout and not touch the pimples because the risk of scarring is high.

There are 2 types of evolutionary stage:
– The red inflammatory scar, which when superficial will disappear spontaneously.
The risk on dark skin is that it will pigment. So it is imperative to protect yourself from the sun.
– The white, elastotic scar, which can be reduced but cannot be removed.

Always be patient and observe the result of treatment before proceeding to the next step.
The sessions are generally spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
In the treatment plan, for the most difficult scars, several treatments will be combined.
